Today, we encounter many Christians who have yet to find a good church home. Early in our Christianity we grow to recognize the importance of a personal relationship with Christ, while not truly understanding how vital it is to invest in a corporate relationship with Christ. The book of Hebrews (10:24-25) reminds us to “stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some", but to encourage one another as we see the Day of Christ drawing near. Corporate worship is stressed to such a degree in the Bible that around the world you see other believers taking great risks to celebrate Christ together.
Even though Sundays are our times to worship through song and Word together, during the week many of us get involved in the Great Commission—that is to make the Gospel known. Ask us about our Preach Christ Crucified campaign if you are one who desires to see others find their true joy in Jesus.
Somehow our church still captures a time when people lived life and worshipped together. It's the last of its kind and those who recognize its beauty may find themselves done with hiding in the pews and small talks before you head to lunch. We are a gritty little tribe of believers who wanted to join the Fabulous Twelve that shook the world in order to bring glory to their King.
If you decide to drop by, we are a block away from Hyde Park Elementary, a block away from Loy Lake Rd., and a hop, skip, and a jump away from a swim in the Waterloo Lake.
